Jamaica Invests Millions in Resort Areas

Jamaica's Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett announced that the country plans to spend $11 million to refurbish and ready several resort areas on the island in time for the high tourism season.

 

Working crews will touch up such target cities as Negril, St. Ann and Kingston, among other areas. The announcement comes shortly after a statement regarding an investment into renovating such tourist attractions such as craft markets.
