SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. (PRNewswire/WorldTourismNews.eu) -- Spring training baseball fans, shellers, birders and nature lovers can take advantage of special discount rates as high as 30 percent off at Ocean's Reach Condominiums Resort, a full-service condominium property where all units face the ocean, in January and February 2011.

"Ocean's Reach is a quiet and relaxing experience. People come here to relax. You can hear the waves lullaby you to sleep," said Dru Anne Doyle, one of three onsite managers who handles guest inquiries and needs. "The beaches and water are pristine and clear."

Unlike other Sanibel Vacation Rentals, the property was completely rebuilt after Hurricane Charley struck the condo and other Sanibel Island Condos in 2004.

"Our property is unique for Sanibel Island. We are the most updated and renovated and redecorated resort on the island," said Doyle.

The property features one- and two-bedroom units, a tropical setting, heated pool, tennis court, shuffleboard, and rentals for bicycles and beach umbrellas. Ocean's Reach also has a shelling station, butterfly garden and gas grills for outdoor dining. All buildings are only 19 steps to the beach.

"Every unit has a spectacular, panoramic direct view of the ocean. Every unit has a private screened lanai overlooking the ocean," she said. "We have a fantastic location. We are secluded but we are close to dining and shopping. We are centrally located on the island."

Every unit features washer and dryer, cable TV, high-speed wireless Internet, DVD and CD players, screened lanai, reserved covered parking and hallway elevators.

Vacationers can view each of the 64 units online and select the one they want to stay in.

"People love to look at the unique interiors and pick their amenities," said Doyle.

There are many activities at the beach rental as well.

"We have a great beach. It is perfect for people who collect shells and people who like to stroll on the beaches. A lot of naturalists come here and take birding tours. We have a preserve area where people love to take pictures," she said. Sanibel Island has 26 miles of paved bikeways.

Sanibel Island is a terrific spot for bird-lovers, with a large number of exotic species including royal terns, purple gallinules and varieties of herons, egrets, woodpeckers, and, of course, pelicans. Kayaking and dolphin watching are in the waters off the beach at Ocean's Reach.

Ocean's Reach Condominiums Resort gets great reviews from guests and is ranked #1 on Trip Advisor for Specialty Lodging on Sanibel Island, with an average of 5 stars from 88 reviewers. Additionally, Ocean's Reach is the first green-certified lodge on Sanibel Island.

Discount rates are in effect for part of baseball's Spring Training Season, which starts in late February. The Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins play in nearby Fort Myers, about 15 miles away.
