Big savings to be made in Southern European cities in November

The tHPI for the month of November shows that the average price for a standard double room is thirteen percent less than the previous month and six percent less than this time last year.

 

In Paris travellers pay twelve percent less than in October. Also in Berlin, which celebrates the twenty year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall that divided the east and west, hotel prices are 14 percent more favourable than the previous month.

 

 

Cheap hotel rates in top European cities
City travellers can save a lot of money in the typically high-priced European cities in November. In Rome the average price for a standard double room is 104 pounds, 30 percent less in comparison to the previous month. Further cities that offer particularly favourable hotel prices in comparison to October 2009 are Florence (86 pounds), Madrid (87 pounds), Cannes (97 pounds) and Paris (125 pounds). In Dublin average overnight accommodation prices are less than 90 pounds for the first time this year: at 87 pounds for a standard double room the rate is 19 percent less than November 2008.
