Celebrate Scotland's Favourite Bard and Ring in Robbie Burns Day at The Rosseau

MINETT, (PRNewswire/WorldTourismNews.eu)-- On Saturday, January 22, guests of The Rosseau, A JW Marriott Resort & Spa will experience Scottish culture and tradition at the Ontario resort's third annual Robbie Burns celebration.

Robbie Burns enthusiasts can join in the celebration of Scotland's most famous poet by taking part in the wintery snowshoe race where contestants will be wearing traditional Scottish kilts while making their way through the course. Later in the day, scotch aficionados are invited to "nose" a flight of scotch and discuss the aromas and flavouring behind some of the world's most famous brands. In true Scottish fashion the "Address to A Haggis," will be performed and traditional Robbie Burns poetry will be recited at this Canada luxury resort.

The Rosseau's award-winning executive chef, Mark Marchment, will prepare the Burns Supper, and the evening's festivities will end with live entertainment with The Tartan Terrors, the well-known Celtic band and dance team.
