China Travel Distribution Summit opens for registration
TravelDaily (www.traveldaily.cn), China’s leading online publisher and event organizer with emphasis on trends in the distribution, marketing, and technology of the travel and tourism industries, announced today it will partner with PhoCusWright to host the 2009 China Travel Distribution Summit in Shenzhen from December 2 to 3, 2009.
“Despite a global downturn that has been impacting the world economy since late 2008, China remains the hotspot of world’s travel market by achieving [a] 12 percent growth rate for the first half of 2009, measured by number of domestic travelers. China’s domestic air traffic also achieved over 20 percent of growth rate on a year-to-year basis,” said Eva He, event director of TravelDaily.
“The China Travel Distribution Summit 2009 will be a gathering of some of the world’s and China's leading travel industry leaders and executives to discuss core issues affecting the travel industry and how the travel organizations can partner together to improve market share, to collaborate in revitalizing the travel and tourism sectors, as well as to seek out implementable solutions that can help transform, drive efficiency, and improve bottom-line performance for the travel industry. By working together with PhoCusWright, the world’s leading research authority for the travel industry, we are confident we can create a truly interactive and inspiring event for the travel decision-makers.”
