Cuba Promoted as Travel Destination in France

A bus decorated with images of several Cuban tourist destinations is touring the Paris streets today to promote the attractions of the Caribbean nation in France.

Yoanki Nieves, representative of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), attending the World in Paris Fair, explained the initiative of combining this Fair with the Ronda Viva Cuba, underway in other French cities.

Nieves labeled France as a very important source-market for Cuba, and added that this promotion campaign will try to reach the salespeople at the travel agencies, the public and the specialized media, with whom they have worked for several years, reported Prensa Latina news agency.

The Cuban specialist considered the workshop and soirée given in the French capital, where they introduced in general terms the Cuban tour product to some 100 French tour operators and travel agents, as good moves. This activity will tour, with the decorated bus, Nantes, Marseille, Toulouse, Lyon and other cities.
