Curacao to Host Annual Dive Festival

Curacao’s annual Dive Festival runs from May 23 to 30. Festivities include free educational dive seminars, marine-art painting workshops, guided dive trips, underwater photography, happy hours and nightly entertainment. There are many Dive Festival Packages to choose from starting at $648 for a seven-night stay. Clients can also customize.

This year the Dive Festival welcomes several well-respected figures in the dive community who will speak on a variety of subjects, including professional photographer, publisher of DivePhotoGuide and author of the “Images” column for Sport Diver Magazine, Jason Heller; president of Oceans for Youth Foundation and experienced dive instructor and trainer, Capt. Wayne Hasson; airbrush painter and instructor of the Marine Art Paintbrush sessions during the Dive Festival, Peter Evers; author and director of training for Divers Alert Network, Eric Douglas; and adventure seeker and world traveler, Marc Sluszny.
