Dominican Republic Tourism Office in the Central & Eastern Europe

Prague (WorldTourismNews) –  Dominican Republic Tourism Office opened its office for the markets of Central & Eastern Europe in the Czech Republic.

 

At the end of June 2009 the office of Dominican Republic Tourist Office was opened in Prague. The office will be responsible for  the promotion of the Dominican Republic as the tourist destination mainly in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and other Central & Eastern European countries.

 

 

„The decision to open office in the Central & Eastern Europe is due to the continued growth of incoming tourists to the Dominican Republic. Our main objective is to position the Dominican republic  as the main destination in the Caribbean for the tourists from the Central & Eastern European markets“, says Leila Berquis Boasier, Director of Dominican Republic Tourism Office.

 

The Dominican Republic is one of the largest Caribbean countries and a very diverse destination like no other - featuring a stunning array of sandy beaches, dazzling green landscapes, mountains studded with waterfalls, exotic cuisine and a remarkable variety of arts and entertainment options that attract international travellers, sports champions and celebrities alike.
