InterContinental Budapest Completes Renovation Project
InterContinental Budapest on the River Danube, across from Castle Hill and the Royal Palace, has completed a renovation project. The new interior boasts 402 refurbished guest rooms and suites, a new Spa InterContinental, a spaciously updated Club Lounge overlooking the River Danube, and renovations to Corso Terrace (both the restaurant and bar).
The new SPA InterContinental is set within more than 9,000 square feet of renovated space housing four treatment suites. The SPA InterContinental menu includes a variety of body and facial services featuring the Omorovicza skincare line. Inspired by tradition, guided by nature and spearheading the concept of “mineral cosmetology,” the Omorovicza skincare range has a rich heritage, harnessing the curative properties of Hungarian healing waters.
Many of the SPA InterContinental treatments pay homage to the Hungarian thermal bath tradition and accordingly, the signature Queen of Hungary Spa Ritual is a full body, traditional Hungarian thermal treatment aimed to renew zest and vigor.
Additionally, SPA InterContinental features the “Time For You” concept, crafting tailor-made spa experiences based on the guest’s personal time and needs, regardless of whether the guest has a few minutes or a few hours.
InterContinental Budapest’s Club Lounge is the largest hotel lounge in Budapest and features a new design. Complimentary amenities enjoyed by Club guests include: private check-in/check-out; computer and internet access; daily breakfast; coffee, tea and refreshments served throughout the day; and evening cocktails and canapés.
