Ireland launches online training tool

13/07/2009 13:50

Tourism Ireland has launched a new online training programme for travel agents in the GCC.

The Shamrock Agents programme is designed to educate the travel trade about Ireland, with agents already signed up including Kanoo Travel, Arabian Pacific Travel Tourism and Caesars Holidays.

It is hoped the launch of the site, which will take place in the UAE first, followed by the rest of the GCC, will help agents develop an in-depth understanding of what Ireland has to offer, enabling them to better sell the destination to their corporate, leisure and MICE clients.
