LONG BEACH, Calif. "Here, for the first time in one easy-to-navigate app," said editor and publisher Ron Salk, "the traveler has all the critical ground-transportation data – found nowhere else in one place – for making informed comparisons and money-saving decisions to get from the airport into the city. We've made more than 10,000 changes since the last edition, and, now that we are digital, we can also offer our thousands of loyal users interactive dialing and website access to airports and transportation companies all over the world."

Salk International's Airport Transit Guide includes: taxi rates to the city and outlying points, plus tipping advice; website-telephone listings of airports, taxi, and shuttle services, most of them accessed by one touch of the screen; airport coach, limo, and van shuttle schedules and prices; train, subway, and bus fares, schedules, and routes; parking rates; car-rental agencies; inter-airport connections; cruise-port transfers; helicopter service; and more.

"Our new app, which has been under development for some six months with Amadeus Consulting, Boulder, Colo., completes the world traveler's digital arsenal of flight, hotel, and restaurant apps, and just in time to be a great iTunes gift-card stocking stuffer," Salk said.  "Early in 2011, we also plan to introduce the app for BlackBerry and Android smartphones," he added.
