Spanair allies with EgyptAir and Turkish Airlines to expand international routes

Spanair has begun to operate codeshare with EgyptAir and Turkish Airlines, Star Alliance members. In this way, the airline Catalan, who before the divestment of SAS was based in Palma de Mallorca, gets to expand its offering of international destinations.

 

With Egyptair, Spanair will operate direct routes codeshare to Cairo to Luxor and connection, both from Madrid or Barcelona. Also, the passengers of the Catalonia-based airline will have the premium services offered by Egyptair and vice versa, reveals a report published in Revista80días.es.

 

For its part, the agreement with Turkish Airlines Spanair allow direct flights from Barcelona and Madrid to Istanbul and connect to Ankara. Moreover, the idea is that passengers on routes within Spain can use the network of 119 international flights and 37 domestic routes from Turkish Airlines.

 

The Spanish airline connections to ensure passengers on EgyptAir and Turkish Airlines to proceed or move to La Coruña, Palma de Mallorca, Bilbao, Sevilla and Alicante through the El Prat airport and coming from or going to Ibiza and Malaga, from Madrid.
