24/03/2010 11:51

Tourism in Peru in the coming Holy Week would grow at least by 10% this year generating sales worth over 200 million soles nationwide, the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) reported Monday.

“There are a lot of expectations for the Holy Week this year, we can see that bookings are increasing,” the President of the Tourism Committee of the CCL Alvaro Benavides said.

He explained that tourism could be divided into two kinds: organized tourism, which has a tourist operator as intermediary, and self-drive tourism, in which each person plans his/her own trip.
