Trinidad & Tobago Eyes Business from Gujarati Moteliers in the US

Caribbean country Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) is eyeing second generation of Indian moteliers in USA to set up mid level hotels and motels. The Caribbean island country is also expecting synergy with Gujarat in the tourism as well as plastic manufacturing sectors.

T&T is keen on promoting tourism in their country. “There are many Indians in our country and Gujaratis form a considerable segment of the Indian community in Trinidad and Tobago,” said Dr Rupert Griffith, minister of tourism of government of T&T. He also said that the Gujaratis have ushered in a revolution in the motel and hotel industry in USA.
