UK´s favourite summer holiday countries

Spain is the most popular summer destination for Brits followed by France, Italy, the USA and Turkey according to new data released by cheap flight site Skyscanner. The UK itself is a favourite place for Spanish, American and Polish tourists to visit, and the second favourite destination for Germans.

 

The data provides an interesting insight into the holidaying habits of Europeans and Americans. As recently reported by Skyscanner, the UK is expecting an increase in foreign visitors this summer due to the favourable exchange rate for those spending Euros, and this new data supports this trend.

 

Overall, across all the nationalities in this study, Spain, the UK and Italy are the most popular summer destinations searched for on Skyscanner.
